Spiritual Parenting

Enkindled is working with a team of professional Psychologists and Counsellors who work with children and youth to develop an Bahai inspired, evidence based educational program for parents. Our hope is to develop materials which will also become a portal to the Training Institute and assists parents everywhere to build their own capabilities.
As we develop this project, we are looking for as much input from Baha’i parents as possible to help guide our work and ensure it is relevant to the needs of our community. We invite you to share any stories, anecdotes, thoughts, and comments. Your input would be highly appreciated. The following quotations can perhaps help you reflect on your parenting stories.

"Man is even as steel, the essence of which is hidden: through admonition and explanation, good counsel and education, that essence will be brought to light. If, however, he be allowed to remain in his original condition, the corrosion of lusts and appetites will effectively destroy him."
Baha'u'llah
“Regard man as a mine rich in gems of inestimable value. Education can, alone, cause it to reveal its treasures, and enable mankind to benefit there from.”
Baha'u'llah
Some questions to help reflect on your parenting journey might be:
How have you tried to bring out these gems in your children and train them , in order them to “reveal these treasures”?
What struggles and challenges do you have as a Bahai parent in this current-day reality?
Please be assured that anything shared with us will be treated with confidentiality and not be shared with others outside our team.
